analysing momento

We analysed the opening sequence of memento and we were able to pick out the main features of a thriller film. There was many of the main visual aspects within this sequence, such as there was a dark background behind a picture that the unknown person was looking at, this picture was a disfigured body laying on the floor surrounded by blood. The music went really well with the the sequence as it gave you a creepy feeling but also left you in suspense for why and what happened. the scenario within this scene is a death which looks like it may of occurred within a fight between to people and one of them has been left shot. the characters that we see within this scene is the dead person in the picture, the one who has been shot, and the other charater is the man who has takn the picture which we are led to believe is the killer. He looks like he has been in a fight and by sweating forhead and way he shows no facial expressions to a dead body on the floor leads you to believe that he is the bad person in the film. The theme within this movie is death.
